I just found this amazing photographer today from the BluDomain Daily Blog. Her images are amazing and her story is even more amazing. Also for the Photographers they just started a new site called RIPE Photographer, it’s a resource center for portrait photographers. I found these model releases that you can download from PHOTOWORKSHOP.COM. There are 5 different releases from adults, minors, and property. I have always created my own releases and these help a lot as a starting point for creating your own. It’s always a good thing to have your clients sign a release.
While your over there be sure to sign up for their newsletters, there is usually really good articles, tips, and information. Also check out their online magazine:

I’m so excited, I’m going to a photography seminar in March! I haven’t been to a seminar in so many years and really looking forward to going. I think this seminar looks like a good one with a lot of great information and it’s so reasonably priced. They are going to be in a lot of cities so go check it out and see if they are coming to a town near you.

Well, Canon came out with another camera. It’s the Canon Digital Rebel XSi. I really like some of the new features they have added. I *love* my XTi that I purchased last year, it gives me beautiful images. To be honest I’m really hoping that they will come out with a new 5D and then I hope to have the money to buy it. Ha! Also check out this site Digital Photography Review for their review on the new Rebel XSi. I love this site for camera reviews and to read what others think about it. When I’m looking for a new camera this is the place I go to find out what people think and get a really in depth review on the gear.

I *love* this website! Lightroom Killer Tips that is.
I have posted about this website before and it just keeps getting better and better. I am loving the FREE presets that Matt is putting up every Monday. The two presets that I love right now are the ‘300 Look’ and ‘Nostalgic Effect’. I got to playing around with these two presets today and this is what I created. I found that the ‘300 Look’ didn’t work on just any image, it had to have a lot of depth and the color red & brown seemed to be important. I also couldn’t use it on close up of faces because it would bring out terrible things in the skin. 
The ‘Nostalgic Effect’ is softer on the skin and creates a hand colored black and white effect. I really like the both of them! What do you think?
