Well my blog is slowly but surely coming along. I’ve been neglecting this one a bit because the other has been giving me a headache! But I think that after all this blood and sweat that it’s going to be worth the effort and time. Oh the time I’ve been putting into this thing.  It’s getting there and you will be able to view it very soon…I promise.  Sorry about the lack of posts on here but I’ve been saving them for the other blog.  Stay tuned for the debut……very soon!

Here’s a pic to tease you of what is on the new blog!

I have been trying to create a new blog but it has proven to be far more difficult and stubborn then I ever thought it would be. You saw on an earlier post that I needed help with some warning it was giving me but I couldn’t find anyone to help me so I’m still stuck. I’ll get things working and then things start messing up. So with some changes I was making some of the images on this blog are not showing up correctly so I apologize for the images looking screwy and I’ll be working on fixing it. I was really hoping to debut a new blog this weekend BUT that isn’t going to happen now. Is there anyone else as frustrated as I am with the Word Press software? I am! This blog runs fantastic but it’s running straight from WordPress.com. I’m working with their software that is being hosted on Yahoo! and it’s crazy how one minute it’s working and then next time I login nothing works. So, I am hoping and praying that I can debut a new blog soon. I’ll keep you updated on my progress and if this ever gets better. Maybe someone else has some tips for me??? I’d sure love to hear some!

I’m feeling nostalgic today…it’s my daughter’s 3rd birthday. It’s amazing how fast time has flown by and how much she’s grown. She’s also been coming out with these one liners that you just can’t help but burst out with laughter. Last week she snuck an olive from her Dad and she had it in her mouth as she was running away. Dad calls to her to not run with food in her mouth. She responds with “Thanks for the tip”. We couldn’t help it…we started laughing. Then tonight Dad was flipping through the channels and Ace Ventura came on and she looked at the screen and said “That’s not right”. How can you not laugh at that? I have got to write these stories down for her in a book so she can read what a silly girl she was.

Hi Everybody!

Ok, so I’ve never asked for help on here before but I just can’t find any anywhere else. I’m in the process of learning how to customize my own blog (by editing code) and I have a warning showing up on every post at the top saying this:

Warning: array_key_exists() [function.array-key-exists]: The first argument should be either a string or an integer in /****/***/***********/****/wp-includes/category-template.php on line 176

This is the only place that I could find the words “array_key_exists” in the category-template.php file:

function in_category( $category ) { // Check if the current post is in the given category global $post, $blog_id;

$categories = get_object_term_cache($post->ID, ‘category’);
if ( false === $categories )
$categories = wp_get_object_terms($post->ID, ‘category’);
if(array_key_exists($category, $categories))
return true;
else
return false;

I hate that I’m putting this stuff up on here but I do not know what this is telling me exactly. I’m really hoping that someone can help me! If you are a kind person who doesn’t mind helping me out please reply in the comments.

Note: The *stars* above are folder names I want to remain private. I am using WordPress software.

Thank you!

Happy Monday Everyone!

I spent all weekend putting up drywall in our basement. It’s really coming along very nicely and my Dad and I are moving right along. For only working on the weekends we doing awesome, at least we think so and that’s all that matters. Ha! I have to thank Ralph for coming and helping us out on Saturday, those drywall sheets are huge and very heavy so it saved me from breaking my back. I had to lift a couple on Sunday and my muscles are so sore but not as bad as it could of been. Thank you Ralph!

So here are some updated photos of our basement. I know it’s nothing special right now but I have a vision of how this basement will look. Here’s a peek…I bought this fireplace to go in the basement and our plasma tv will hang above.

In this photo you see the carpet sample that I looking at. I want it to be a very cozy family room.

I’m standing in the guest bedroom looking toward the family room.

See those wires hanging out of the wall? That is where the fireplace and tv are going to be. ;)

Thanks for stopping by today and check back soon, I have some new fine art images to show you this week!

Have a great day!

I’m so excited, I just received my new business cards and they turned out so nice. I had them made on the linen paper and I love the texture of the paper. What ya think?
