I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

I will be spending my time with my family in Nebraska for Thanksgiving and will be back on Monday. Please send me an email if you have questions and I will return it as soon as I can.  Don’t eat to much……ha ha ha……I plan on it!

Also don’t forget that deadlines for prints and custom book orders are coming up quick.

All orders that are needed for Christmas should be in no later then December 7!

The Holiday Season is upon us and beautiful prints make the perfect Christmas gift. If you are wanting to have prints made from your session for Christmas, the deadline to have your order placed is December 7. If you are wanting a custom book made by Christmas please get that to me as soon as possible!  Books are taking at least 2 weeks to publish!

Yesterday I received my Christmas Cards and they are so beautiful! This is the first time I’ve order press printed products from Mpix and they did a gorgeous job on them. These are the postcards, printed on both sides on the Linen paper. The texture and weight of the paper is so luxurious. If you are interested in having Birth Announcements or Christmas Cards made, you are going to love these!

If anyone knows me, I like to change things in my life. Love to redecorate, move furniture, change photos on the walls, and now change my websites. I made a color palette change and therefore needed to change my blog to match! Please bare with me while I need to adjust some images that are being cut off by this new layout. Hope you like the new colors!

I was thinking this last weekend about my color palette and to tell you the truth it just kind of happened with the orange because of the blog template that I had chosen.  Well after thinking about the colors ‘in my life’ that color just isn’t there.  Sitting in my ‘Great Room’ which is my entrance, living room/family room, office, dining room, & kitchen you are wrapped in the warmth of reds, tans, and browns.  No orange!  I don’t even wear orange in any of my clothes.  So it had to change, it wasn’t me.    Red is so ME.  I have red hair and my great room has red curtains, my dining and kitchen area have red walls, and when you walk into my home red is all around you.  So I hope my color change gives you more of a sense of ME.

I’m so relieved that it didn’t take 3 days for my domain to switch servers. Yes, www.brendalandrum.com is LIVE and my new site is up and running. When you browse to my site you will have the choice to enter into my site, blog, or client proofing. I would love to receive feedback from everyone on what you think about my new site! This is something that I have been ’saving’ for for awhile now and then BluDomain made it happen! Yes, my site is through BluDomain and I think they have a wonderful service that is geared toward photographers.
