A few notes from Brenda…

I love Photography!

I can’t put it any simpler then that. It’s something that I have had a passion for since I was 14 years old. When I picked up a camera on a volleyball camp trip for school, I haven’t been able to live with out it. I have been passionate about learning whatever I can and to develop my craft. As a junior in high school I enrolled in a Black & White Photography beginners course and loved it. Right out of high school I knew that this was what I wanted to do and started doing weddings and portraits for my family and friends. I took a few years off to focus on my family and my daughter has brought out a new excitement in me. She taught me that photography has a new meaning, it’s documenting those moments that go by so quickly. She’s only a toddler but in those few short years so much has changed and you loose what happened yesterday. I want to capture those precious times for all my clients. That is what I strive for…documenting you being YOU. I used to do all the posing and working so hard for those perfect smiles. It’s just not about that, it’s about capturing a moment of joy and leaving the perfect behind.

I hope you can see my style through out my portfolio’s and appreciate the moment each image was taken. A Mother-to-Be waiting to hold her baby. The innocence of a newborn child. An exploring toddler looking in every corner. A couple so in love. And the beautiful world that God has given us.
